Our Journey and Mission

Sara Whitman’s journey began in Michigan within a family-owned business, but her heart longed for a deeper purpose. After being homeschooled and attending Midland Christian School, she bravely set out on her own at 19. Working in lawn care sales, she started to question the everyday dismissal of nature’s simple gifts. It was during this time she asked, “Why are we getting rid of dandelions? What are they good for?” That curiosity led her to explore herbalism and to experiment with making dandelion wine—a venture that would change her life.

Her initial attempts were not without challenges. A lesson in safe foraging taught her the importance of proper practices, and a subsequent encounter with a supportive community of local winemakers helped her refine her craft. A pivotal moment came in 2019, when a friend granted her access to a 100-acre field of pristine dandelions. Surrounded by vibrant blooms, Sara saw firsthand that this humble plant could be a powerful symbol of resilience and a catalyst for community healing. From that day forward, she committed to sharing the wisdom of herbal remedies and natural living, not just as products, but as stories of hope and transformation.
